Types of door counter systems
Door counter systems can use various technologies, including cameras, thermal sensors, or break-beam sensors.
Terabee door counter systems work by infrared Time-of-Flight (ToF) technology: emitting invisible pulses of infrared light, then measuring how the pulse reflects off the sensor’s surroundings. By measuring the time taken for different parts of the pulse to return to the sensor (the time of flight), Terabee door counter systems can calculate the distance that the light has traveled. In this way, our door counters image their surroundings in 3D.
