FLOW
People Flow Counting L-XL
How many people are entering or exiting from this door?
FLOW is installed above the entrance or exit of a designated space and monitors how many people are “flowing” through that passage. Suitable for dynamic situations where multiple people move simultaneously in both directions, FLOW outputs the number of people going in/out of the space in real time. This data can be used to assess entrance traffic, but also aggregated to extract occupancy information.
A single FLOW device can cover a standard entryway of up to 3.4 meters wide. For larger entryways, multiple FLOW sensors can be connected to cover a width of up to 15 meters. The field of view of each sensor is merged, allowing the sensor array to function as a single device with a significantly expanded field of view. This modularity simplifies data handling, as the installed array operates as a single sensor and data source.
FLOW provides the highest accuracy on the market for similar products, ensuring the most realistic data possible. The embedded Terabee on-the-edge algorithm uses 3D point clouds to identify human shapes and track them within the sensor’s field of view. This allows the device to accurately count entry and exit passages.
This product, powered by Time-of-Flight (ToF) 3D sensing technology, ensures privacy protection by utilizing low-resolution ToF sensors instead of cameras or microphones. This design guarantees privacy at the source, meaning that even in the unlikely event of a security breach, no personal images or data can be extracted.
FLOW provides a flexible, modular solution that allows to progressively monitor a building’s occupancy. Start with a few devices at main entrances and exits to gain macro-level insights. Add more sensors to staircases and elevators to understand vertical movement patterns within the building. For more granular insights, equip floors with additional devices to monitor desk areas, meeting rooms, and common spaces. You can even create “virtual walls” to divide larger areas for more targeted analysis.
Unlike our competition, we do not force customers and partners to enroll in subscriptions or SaaS models. We consider ourselves part of the infrastructure, focused on delivering top-quality products and data, regardless of where that data is stored. Our devices can transmit data to any chosen server – local or cloud-based – irrespective of ownership. While we are always happy to offer support, we do not mandate the use of our servers or additional services.
